Who’s Harvey?

Harvey Perley Hood founded H.P. Hood dairy in Charlestown over a hundred years ago. And while his business and Charlestown have grown over the years, his pioneering spirit still remains.

Today, the site of the former Hood plant is Boston’s newest neighborhood. So it’s only fitting that the first residential building to be established here, The Harvey, is named after Mr. Hood.
